The PCRFNI held their AGM and public lecture “responding to the challenges of 2020” on 8th December 2020 at 12.15pm via Zoom

Presentations
Following the closed AGM, an open public lecture was held on “Responding to the challenges of 2020”
Presentations were 20 minutes, followed by ten minutes of open discussion.
- Ray Elder discussed the ongoing challenges to clinical practice in 2020 including COVID-19 and the provision of palliative care, and the transition of patients recognised as frail to palliative care
- Kevin Brazil and Julie Doherty discussed the necessary conversations surrounding advance care planning in the nursing home in response to COVID-19
